Abstract
The research aims to measure the effect of:1 - Educational Theatre students to collect the second average in history.
2 - Educational Theatre on self-confidence among the students of the second average in the teaching of history.
Included research community second-grade students at the center of the Mediterranean province of Baghdad Karkh second for the academic year (2012 - 2013), distributors and secondary schools on the day.
The number of respondents (48) students, of whom (24) as a student pilot is studying the use of mediated theater education, and ( 24) as a student officer is considering the use of brokered the usual way.
Find the two groups was equal variables a measure of self-confidence and chronological age and the overall rate, the previous historical knowledge, and the degree of intelligence: and the educational level of the parents Identified scientific material, and the formulation of behavioral objectives, and lesson plans, and the research tools achievement test and a measure of self- confidence and they realized the validity and reliability.
The results showed a difference is statistically significant at the level (0.05) between the average scores of academic achievement for students of the two groups (experimental and control), and in favor of the experimental group, as well as the existence of differences statistically significant at the level (0.05) between the arithmetic average of the measure of self- confidence between the two groups (experimental control) and in favor of the experimental group attributed researche.
