Abstract

Transport represents the city’s beating nerve, which works to link activities with each other, and any defect in the city’s transport system leads to a reduction in the levels of luxury and comfort on the road. This is why the importance of relying on lighting has increased to enhance the functional and aesthetic performance of internal and external spaces.
In general, lighting is very important for workers in the field of interior design, whether it is natural or industrial lighting, and the use of lighting well generates reflections As for the human being and it is reflected in his behavior, just as the research problem is neglecting the role of street lighting and its various effects, and that most of the streets of Ramadi city are not equipped with lighting, and the study aims to collect information and analyzes deduced from field studies to come up with solutions and suggestions. Another, according to the available information, for the purpose of finding out whether the distances between one pole and another are distributed according to the lengths of the streets, a linear regression model was built between the two variables, where the length of the street was considered as an independent variable and the number of lighting poles As a dependent variable, and the result of using this model and showing the amount of dispersion occurring in the residual values, where the presence indicates a large extremism in some rates, which negatively affects the result of the model, and this matter is clearly evident in the standard residual repetitions, where the results show their departure from zero significantly, in addition to Using the simple linear regression equation, through which it becomes clear that there are two values in their estimation that exceed the 95% confidence limits, which leads to the inaccuracy of the model in the estimation, which in turn reflects the absence of a standard criterion for setting the distances between the columns.
