Abstract
The Banu Lakis are one of the Arab tribes that had an important role in the Arabian Peninsula, which abutted with several eras, and which greatly affected the tribal organization, especially the Banu Lakis... As the Arab society in the pre-Islamic era was unable to achieve its political unity, which affected the lives of The Arab tribes made them revolve in the whirlpools of disputes and conflict between them and the formation of alliances, but despite these circumstances they were able to form a cultural unity represented by their fresh poetry... The Banu Lakis is one of these tribes that had a role in poetry and in social and political life, they managed before Islam to maintain the unity Their tribe and their defense, but after Islam they voluntarily entered Islam and sent their entry to the Messenger Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) and they had honorable positions at the beginning of Islam and in the ages that followed it...
