Abstract
The study aimed to determine the degree of the school administration’s practice of its role in activating the English language laboratory in the secondary schools of Anbar Governorate from the English language teachers’ point of view, as well as identifying whether there are statistically significant differences in the average scores of English language teachers’ appreciation of the school administration’s role in activating the English language laboratory in Anbar province middle schools from the English language teachers' point of view (gender, experience, educational stage).
The study followed the descriptive analytical approach, identifying the study population in all middle and high schools that contain the fourth and fifth preparatory grades in Anbar Governorate, which numbered (140) schools distributed over 8 districts, and the study sample members amounted to (64) teachers and schools, including (27) teachers and ( 37) School.
A questionnaire was prepared in its final form of (49) items divided into three areas (administrative, educational, and societal) and the questionnaire was verified for validity and reliability. Appropriate statistical methods were used and the results showed: The presence of the school administration's role in activating the English language laboratory in middle schools, as well as in the administrative and educational sub-domains, but the societal field came to a weak degree.
