Abstract
The study of prominent political figures is one of the topics that attracted the attention of resaerchers in order toreveal thir most prominent positives and negatives that accompanied thaeir life path ln sudan the personality of Mahmoud Muhammad taha emerged during the twentieth century among the personalities that emerged and left their clear imprints on contemporaru Sudanese political thought through it he tried to present a new light on the history of this thought lt had a great resonance that transcended thae bordeers of the country of Sudan as it brought strange and new ideas to Islam in which the majority of Muslim scholars disagreed and provoked a wide controversy from the scholars of the Islamic world between support opposition and rejection which was a reason to present his life to those ideas
