This research deals with military clash with the state of the Khazar during the Abbasid era, the two wars occurred first in the reign of the Abbasid Caliph Abu Jaafar al-Mansour (136-158 AH / 754-775 AD), and the second in the reign of Harun al-Rashid (193-170 AH / 786-809 AD).
At the beginning of research dealt Khazar state, then the causes of conflict between them and the Islamic State of covenants first, then followed by a detailed study in the two wars mentioned above, different historians mentioned, causes and consequences of wars.
Research indicates that, conflict with the state of the Khazar in the Abbasid era, characterized the policy of an offensive by the Khazar, and defensive by the Abbasids. The sources did not say the reasons, but we suggest several reasons for this. We also pointed out that the Khazar did not represent a mortal danger to the State of the Abbasid Caliphate, and the reason of that because they didn't have plans to eliminate the Abbasid state, but their attack was to plundering and looting when conditions preparing them to do so.

The Effect of Active Learning on the Achievement and Retention in History of 4th Literary Students

The aim of research is to investigate the effect of the active learning on the achievement and retention of 4th literary students in history. To achieve the aim of the present research, it is hypothesized that:
1. There is no significant difference at (a=0.05) level in the achievement of 4th literary students' mean scores between the experimental group that taught with active learning strategies (cooperative learning) and the control group that taught according to traditional method in the history of Islamic Arabic civilization.
2. There is no significant difference at (a=0.05) level in retention of 4th literary students' mean scores between the experimental group that taught with active learning strategies (cooperative learning) and the control group that taught according to traditional method in history of Islamic Arabic civilization.
The researcher has used the procedures of experimental research and chosen the two group design (experimental and control). To verify the above hypotheses, an intended sample of 62 4th literary students from Al-Khulfafa, preparatory school, during the first term of the academic year 2012-2013. This sample has been distributed into two groups. The experimental group has consisted of (31 students) and the control group has consisted of (31 students). Both groups are equalized in terms of the age, parents' level of education, the level of students' intelligence and the level of students' achievement for the previous academic year. The researcher has constructed the suitable instructional plans for each group. After that, the researcher has constructed an achievement post-test consisted of (40) items from multiple choice kind .After ensuring its validity, difficulty level and discrimination power, the researcher has applied the post-test and then the 2nd posttest three weeks after for measuring retention.
The data collected have been analyzed by using t-test formula under 0.05 significance level. The findings reveal that there is a significant differences in the achievement and retention between the experimental group and the control group in favour of the experimental one.
In the light of the findings above, the researcher has put certain recommendations:
1- Encourage teachers to use modern teaching methods in which the student is the major pivot in the instructional process.
2- Emphasize the significance of the active learning and its various strategies.

The hearing of the most important senses that depends upon the individual interactions with others And function of hearing is one of the important functions of the human being, and hearing loss leads to growth retardation of children in many areas and to confront the problems of educational and behavioral and social lead to incompatibilities, and so the study of the psychological characteristics of persons with disabilities acoustically very important so as to lay the foundations right to deal with them.
We have the goal of current research to:
1 - Know the psychological characteristics of children with hearing disabilities.
2 - know the effect of sex on the psychological characteristics of these children.
3 - know the effect of phase study on the psychological characteristics of them.
In order to achieve the objectives of this research was the researcher applying a scale to measure psychological characteristics On a sample of (48) a child with a disability hearing of both sexes spread over four phases of study every phase consisted of 12 children. After collecting and processing data statistically using the percentage and testing Altaúa the researcher reached the following results:
1- (50%) of respondents apply to them the psychological characteristics contained in the measure.
2- The lack of statistically significant differences depending on the sex variable.
3- The lack of statistically significant differences depending on the school stage variable.

The problem of the present research is determined by the following question: What is the relationship of the psychological dynamic with the basic anxiety of orphans and non-orphans students at intermediate schools.
The researcher has used a descriptive approach to achieve the aims of the research which states the following:
1- Measuring the level of psychological dynamic for the sample of study from orphans and non-orphans students at intermediate stage.
2 - Measuring the level of the basic anxiety for the sample of study from orphans and non-orphans students at intermediate stage.
3 - Identifying the differences between the mean scores obtained by the individuals of the sample of study from orphans and non-orphans students at intermediate stage in the two measurements (the psychological dynamic with the basic anxiety)
4 - Identifying the correlating relationship between the psychological dynamic and the basic anxiety for the sample of study from the students of intermediate stage.
The sample of study is selected randomly which involves 400 male and female students (200 orphans students and 200 non-orphans students) from the intermediate schools that relate to the General Directorate of Education in Fallujah / Anbar province, for the academic year 2012-2013.
The researcher has constructs two measurements , one for psychological dynamic and the other for the basic anxiety. After ensuring from the procedures of constructing measurements , validity, reliability and psychometric characteristics of items, the researcher has applied the measurements on the sample of study. After analyzing the responses of the sample by using of statistical means like : t-test for two independent samples, t-test for one sample, and Pearson correlation coefficient, coefficient Spearman Brown coefficient, etc., results have showed the following :
1-The total mean score for the measurement of psychological dynamic is higher than the hypothetic mean scores and that the differences between them is statistically significant at 0.05 level of significance in favour of the non-orphans students.
2-There is a statistically significant difference at 0.05 level of significance between the mean score of the sample of study from the orphans and non-orphans students in the level of basic anxiety and in favour of the orphans students.
3-There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores in the of the sample in the psychological dynamic in favour of the non-orphans students and also there is a significant difference between the mean scores in the of the sample in the basic anxiety in favour of the orphans students.
4 -There is a statistically significant relationship at 0.05 level of significance and the students scores on the measurement of the psychological dynamic link in one way or another with the basic anxiety positively and negatively.
To complete the current search, the researcher comes out with some conclusions , recommendations and suggestion.

The goal of research is to identify the impact of cognitive thinking over the model in achievement among students in second grade average in mathematics. No statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average test scores ( posttest ) for students of the experimental group first studied according to the thinking over the cognitive , the average scores of the control group,who studied in the manner usual in the collection of mathematics among students in the second medium.
Identify research students second grade average in mathematics for classes six authors of the decision, the two first academic year of study 2012-2013 chosen experimental design The disciple partial (experimental group and a control group) with a post-test ,the sample in a manner of appointment RAM, amounted to (54) students by (27) students for the first experimental group , and (27) of the control group students , and rewarded with research groups in three variables : chronological age , level of intelligence, and the former collection .
Researcher prepared (achievement test), it has consisted of as the final of 40 items , including a number of paragraphs of objectivity and essay ,by (36) , paragraph kind of multiple-choice ,and (4) paragraphs of the essay has been verified honesty virtual and sincerity of the content, and extract him difficulty coefficient and the coefficient of discrimination and the effectiveness of alternatives to the substantive paragraphs , found the stability of the paragraphs of the way internal consistency test , with a reliability coefficient (0.81) was found constant correction factor for reaching essay paragraphs between the researcher and the same over time (0,90). This research aims to identify the impact of the use of strategic questions in educational circle textured history and the tendency towards it with the average second grade students، and for the purpose of verification of the goal null hypothesis was formulated following :
There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who studied Bstratejah questions and circle between the average scores of the control group students who studied in the usual way in the collection
To achieve the objective of this research chose researchers experimental design (a disciple partial) of two unequal one pilot and the other officer، with a post-test collectible، and limited this research to second grade students average in a school of the Directorate of Education in Diwaniyah، as the sample was selected search Qsidia School of Basra for Girlsdistributed among the three divisions of study، chosen by appointment indiscriminate Division (a) to represent the experimental group، and taught according to the strategy of the Department of the questions and the Division (b) to represent the control group that studied in the way normal، and the number of students of the sample (70) students to be (35) studentin the experimental group and 35 students In the control group did not exclude any student because there is no repetition.
